We are committed to using non-toxic products to effectively clean and maintain a healthy environment, whether at home or at the office. EPA studies have revealed data showing indoor pollution posing a much greater threat to human health than does outdoor air pollution. From the study, 11 common pollutants are generally 2 to 5 times higher inside homes and commercial buildings than they are outdoors. In some cases, as much as 100 times higher.
There has been a growing concern about toxic chemicals that can cause cancers, birth defects and mutations. Since the 1970’s, a growing body of research suggests that long-term exposure to some of these chemicals can also disrupt the body’s immune, nervous, and endocrine systems. With hundreds of potentially hazardous chemicals lurking in our homes, offices and environment, it is important to reduce the exposure to these chemicals as much as possible to lessen the cumulative impact. Some scientists and health officials are pushing for more emphasis on pollution prevention which is based on a precautionary principle.
